Two and One

Who Am I

I am an undergraduate student majoring in Intelligence Science and Technology at Peking University. I started out in Computer Vision — 3D reconstruction, rendering, and recognition — before shifting my focus fully to ML Systems. These days I care more about what happens under the hood: CUDA kernels, inference optimization, distributed training, and P/D disaggregation.

About This Site

This site is a place where I write down what I learn, what I find interesting, and occasional thoughts. Posts are mostly reading notes on ML Systems papers and topics. Some posts are in Chinese, some in English.

The name Two and One was picked at random when setting up the site. No deep meaning.

The avatar is a cat in a box. The picture came with a caption, and it has stayed with me: Today is an ordinary day. Nothing is owed, nothing is due. The litter box has been freshened, the bowl refilled, and the box — that particular box — has finally arrived. You step in, settle down, and survey the world from its cardboard walls. Outside, things are presumably happening. In here, it is enough. That kind of quiet — where the present moment asks nothing more of you — is something I find worth chasing.
